Cooperating won't save you

In Hollywood a carjacker demanded the keys of Ryan Groetken's Lexus. After Ryan gave up his keys and turned away the carjacker shot him in the back. Unfortunately, Ryan died.

Ryan cooperated with the carjacker and put up no resistance, yet the ruthless carjacker killed him anyway.

So much for the theory of 'just give him want he wants so he won't hurt us'.
All too often these ruthless criminals will kill for no apparent reason.

Whenever a criminal comes at you with a weapon, its vital that you knock him down and out if you want to survive.

So how will you do this?
1) With a gun?
-It could work, but it takes a lot of training, and if you don't have a permit to carry it, you'll end up in jail, and if you shoot him might still end up in jail and you'll probably be sued by the criminal's relatives.

2) Get a dog?
-Dogs will often get scared in a violent situation and run away.

3) Carry pepper spray, a knife, etc?
-These could work, IF you can get them out in time. Unfortunately most attacks are by surprise leaving you no opportunity to use these items.

One could describe these items as pacifiers. They make you feel secure, however they really provide no value because in a real life situation, the criminal is not going to pause for you to get these items out. There won't be a 'Take Three' like in Hollywood where they do it over if you don't get it right. On the street you've got one chance to stop the attack and you better stop it quick.

4) Learn martial arts?
-Sure if you have 5 or 10 years to gain enough skills to qualify as a beginner on the street.
Even then, you'll be learning how to fight one person at a time, when a vast majority of street attacks are made by two or more criminals.
When asked what he would do if two people attacked him, Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert Royce Gracie said he wouldn't fight.

5) Learn a combat art?
-Good luck in finding one that isn't just a mixture martial arts that some well-meaning instructor thought would work for you.

6) Learn boxing or wrestling?
-Again this is preparing for one attacker. Good luck.

7) Learn a professional art?
-This is how you can gain the skills necessary to stop any attacker.

Kuta is a professional art developed by a group of professionals in several different fields of expertise.

These professionals looked at every combat system in existence, at least all the ones that had proven to be effective in real life or death situations, and they designed a professional art so powerful that, in the words of the late DOK Lee, a half-power strike would crush the enemies chest and a full-power strike would knock bones out of the other side of the enemies body.

This is why whenever someone even with minimal training in Kuta (also known as Hikuta) defends in a real-life encounter, the attacker is instantly sent to the ground. Little does the attacker know that he's very lucky that the defender only practiced off a video for a few hours.

Click here to see how you can start to have these skills.

Have a wonderful day!
