Catherine Woods was discovered face down in a pool of blood on the floor of her bedroom. She had been knifed in the neck and hand, and the room was in "disarray, " police said.
What a tragedy to hear about things like this.
I'm not going to say that she shouldn't known self defense, and that if she did she would have survived.
I wasn't there and the article included very little details regarding what happened.
Just knowing self defense isn't always enough, there is also a mindset that goes along with it, as well as some preventative measures.
My prayers go out to the family and loved ones in this difficult time.
